Good or bad things help us to grow in our teaching practice!!!

It was my fourth class in intermediate। We began the class with an enjoyable activity. After that, students worked in an exercise in which they had to move around the classroom and asked yes/no questions to their classmates. For that activity, I brought some faces of paper and I gave 3 per each one. The rule of the activity was that the students can not answer with the words yes or no. If one of the students accidentally said yes or no, he had to give one of his faces of paper to the person who had asked him the question. It was so nice because all of them participated and they enjoyed the activity. Then, I wrote on the board some uncompleted sentences that they had to complete with their own information. Most of them worked on that activity. In the other hand, I had some problems with Spanish speakers. Some of the students were speaking Spanish in the class while I was writing a dialogue on the board. From this class, I learn that I have to monitor more the class when the students are working in the activities because sometimes they are working in other things that are not from the class. Also, it is better to bring the dialogues on a chart. Doing that, I can get the students attention and avoid Spanish speakers. Well, I like this group. I like the experiences that I have had from this level. I know that I am going to continue learning from them. Something that I know is that each of good or bad things has helped me to grow in my teaching practice.
