My fourth teaching experience!!!

This experience was very nice. We started with a reading comprehension exercise. It was like a practice exam. They had to work by their selves without talking with their classmates. Then, we worked on some written exercises. I really liked the part when the students were very focused on their work. They were working hard. All of them participated in the activities. In the other hand, I brought a listening activity but I could not develop it because the outlet of the classroom did not work. So, I had to omit that activity and continued with the next one. Students always showed a positive attitude in class.
Well, something that I learn from this class is that in a reading comprehension activity, I must not leave the reading paper to the students because that gives them the opportunity to cheat. Also, I know that not everything will come out as I planned. So, I always have to prepare extra things for those situations. I really enjoy working with that group. They always participate in class and show a positive attitude for getting the target language. It is nice to realize that I can help them in their learning process. I really like that group!!!!

My third teaching experience!!!!

My third teaching experience was nice. We started with a warm-up in which all the students participated. In this time, I had to explain the grammar explanation step. I really liked the part when I was giving a grammar explanation; I used a visual aid from doing that. I could catch the students' attention and they felt encouraged to participate. Students were working in all the exercises. They always showed a positive attitude in class. One of the difficulties that I faced was that just some of the students had the photocopy of a grammar explanation sheet that we used for developing a lesson step.
After this class, I know that I don`t have to give all the answers when I explain grammar, I have to let students participate. Also, I have to show more enthusiasm to the students. Well, I know that each experience is going teach me something new. So, I am very interesting in continue learning from my experience.

My second teaching experience!!!

Well, my second teaching experience was so nice. We began with a warm-up that was so amusing. I felt more confidence this time. I really liked the part in which students were producing the target language in a pair work activity. They were very excited in the oral exercises even though they had some difficulties to do it. They asked me for help and I felt nice because I could help them. Students showed a positive attitude in each of the activities. I loved to see their enthusiasm and it inspired me so much. On the contrary, I had to bring an example of a famous person from my country and I didn`t bring an attractive one for the students. I realized that they didn`t like it because it was about an old fashioned man. About the aids, I used a recorded report that helped students to practice their listening skills. They were very focused on it and trying to get the information. All the students worked on the class activities. They were paying attention and practicing the target language. I really felt satisfied for my second teaching experience and I learned key points for improving my classes.
After this class, I know that I have to make a better job the next time. I always have to look for examples that catch students’ attention and interest. I have to bring updated examples. Also, I have to double check some grammar explanations. Well, I think that each teaching experience is going to help me to be a good facilitator. I definitely enjoy my second teaching experience!!!

MY FIRST CLASS!!!

Well, I enjoyed my first teaching experience. Sincere, at the beginning, I felt a little nervous, but then I felt confidence. One of the things that I really liked was when the students were working in pairs and they interviewed each other. They were practicing the target language and also getting new vocabulary for expressing their ideas. In the other hand, I did not do well the writing activity because I didn`t give clear instructions to the students. They were confused in what they were going to do. Another thing in what I failed was that I forgot to write the objective of the class. Well, about the material that I used from this class, I felt satisfied. I used some visual aids in which students could be easily familiarized with the new vocabulary. I really liked this group because all of them participated in each activity. I could notice that they really wanted to acquire the target language. They were paying attention and working in class. I liked that! So, I enjoyed my first teaching experience and I learned a lot of things from it.
Now, I hope that for the next time, I´m going to do better than this one. Now, I know that I have to give clear directions and also add examples about the things that I ask them to do. Another thing that I have to do is to write on the board, in a page or tell students the objective that we are going to reach at the end of the class. Well, it is my first experience and I know that the next one is going to be better!!
